Flyers such as this one have been posted all over High Rock, though they can be found particularly in Shornhelm and Nothpoint.

JDMU3jl.jpg

Flyer reads: In order to aid the people of Fell's Run during these desperate times, Ren Naecien will be hosting a Charity Date Auction. He is calling for volunteers to allow themselves to be auctioned for a date in order to raise funds to support the influx of refugees into Fell's Run. All proceeds from the Date Auction will go toward funding for food, housing, and education to help these poor individuals get back on their feet.

The auction shall be taking place on Loredas, the 7th of First Seed. Volunteers are to contact Ren Naecien no later than Turdas, the 5th of First Seed. It is also requested that volunteers give the name they wish to be auctioned under, what they would prefer to do for their date, and any other information that they feel might help make buyers more interested in choosing them for purchase.

Ren Naecien can be contacted via Menwirchel at the Run Inn.

Once again, rumors surface about Nito's Fight Night. Word on when and where has yet to be given, but word on the street is that it might happen in Evermore.

Gossip travels fast, particularly in the seedier parts of the Covenant cities. The beggars and the working girls collect all sorts of juicy tidbits that make their way to their ears, and they'll gladly whisper them to any who will pay the right price...

Lately, there was been chatter of someone offering contract work, though she can be difficult to find. One particularly loquacious little bird was overheard saying if one were simply to ask the bartender at the Cloudy Dregs for their finest bottle of moon sugar rum, he or she would be directed to a woman who works in the shadows. Whether or not this is true is up for debate, but one thing is for sure: Someone has been contracting certain people with particular skill sets, and those looking for gold need only search in the right place.

The Mages Guild in Shornhelm certainly has been bustling with activity. When any public affairs person is asked about this increase in activity they have been replying "no comment" James Ridgewell though finally released a statement on behalf of the Shornhelm Mages Guild "We are simply following up on a previous incident, that is it. No further questions will be answered to non members at this time."
"Pay attention to the fine print, its far more important than the selling price."

Fell's Run saw a reunion last night, of siblings. Mage's Guild Master at Arms Valeria Trevanii, wife to the Shornhelm Magister, Solinar of Firsthold spotted her younger brother Valken over near the fire. This was a complete surprise as he was supposedly back in Alinore. The siblings spoke at length with concern growing on the mage's face as her brother has no memory of the events of the past year or so. This is understandable as his soul had been stolen months ago by their uncle, the Necromancer Jakell Trevanii and trapped in a soul gem for quite some time (along with 10 others!). The most disturbing is he did no remember why he was in Covenant lands or that he was married to Joia.

The city of Northpoint has lost its High Priestess as Priestess Isabelle apparently abandonned priesthood completely. She has instead taken over Ladyship of her family's holdings and House Chevalier.
The new young Lady has travelled to Shornhelm and Daggerfall to set things in order.
Apparently, the temple of Shornhelm has already sent a new priestess to Northpoint.

The temple in Shornhelm didn't have to look very far to find a priestess as there had been one living in Northpoint for a while even if she spent her time in the Shornhelm temple. When Lord James Ridgewell purchased a home for his family, his wife moved to Northpoint from Wayrest. Lady Victoria Ridgewell has been a priestess of Julianos for the last twenty years. She is currently considering the position but has yet to make a decision as she is still recovering from the birth of her younger son. It is rather likely that she will accept the position.

((This cinches it. I will try to make the Temple guild as now I see a direction.))

Lady Morna has been withdrawn of late, often away in Eyevea. When she is at Shadevale she is typically either closeted in the office overseeing the mundane tasks of running the estate or in the library, poring over mysterious tomes not readily available on the shelves, reading them within her mystical circle of protection. There DO seem to be more cats around the manor of late as well. She did recently manage to slip away for a drink with old friend Gilus Carin and was overheard at the tavern discussing his impending wedding to her cousin, Lady Cilene Gawadunen. He also spoke of soon hosting a family dinner with Cilene and the possibility of sponsoring a tournament, challenging Morna to select a champion from among the members of her House.

Lady Meliesse has taken to drilling with the House guard and standing a regular watch. She remains a quiet presence, her green eyes watchful.

The Queen Arzhela's Revenge, captained by Morchade the Red (aka Lady Morchade Gawadunen) has moored off North Salt once more and Morchade has been seen about the estate, often after having visited with Lady Meliesse.

A more mysterious figure has been seen coming and going from Lady Leannan's chambers. She is a small woman, usually hooded, but when seen appears to be a Redguard. A very few of the House may recognize her as Panthera, a long time associate of Leannan's though her role is unclear.
**************************

Last night Lady Morchade Gawadunen (aka Morchade the Red, captain of The Queen Arzhela's Revenge) caused something of a stir in TWO taverns before her night was done. At the tavern in Fell's Run she was seen with Angelus, a retainer of House Gawad Du and the two retired upstairs to a private room after entering a rather tense discussion at the bar. Eventually Angelus left alone. Morchade then also returned downstairs, helped herself to some of the stronger spirits behind the bar, and then laid a surprisingly ardent kiss on the barkeeper before storming out and riding away.

She was later seen in Hoarfrost Down's tavern drinking heavily with her First Mate, Aidanna, and another newer member of House Gawad Du, Adalicia. Rumor has it that she wept and drank until she could no longer stand and had to be carried up to bed by Aidanna. The word "bitch" may have been used in reference to former Dibellan Priestess Isabelle.

A bag with the body of an Argonian was found dumped in the streets of Shornhelm in the middle of the night last night. His tail had been removed along with his head feathers, and it looked like rodents had eaten through his belly. There were no signs of any struggle by the dead Argonian, whom someone thought went by the name Cooks-All-Books. The same person was noted to say what a coward the victim was. Most noticeable on the body was his left arm. All of the scales had been removed, and its hand had been charred in fire, leaving the claw-less hand completely charred and blackened, its burnt-in fingers roughly stretched outwards, according to local healers. Some superstitious folks are calling this the work of the Dark Brotherhood.

The servants of the Sunlit Hall in White Haven have been busy bees this morning, the 28th of Sun's Dawn, filing in and out of the Count and Countess's chambers. High thread-count sheets, porcelain pitchers full of steaming water, and several crates of wine and cigars have been seen being carried into the bedroom, and every time the door is ajar painful and labored moans can be heard echoing down the hallway.

Cries-In-Corners, everyone's favorite abused argonian servant, has been particularly out of sorts this morning. She has been barking orders at other servants ("Get my Mistress her ice chips, you blithering idiots!") and occasionally fulfilling her namesake due to the stress of the morning's events. Between mood swings, Cries was heard exuberantly informing a handful of kitchen servants that Baby Vekon is most certainly on the way today... and that everyone should gird their loins in preparation of the arrival of members of court, whom will be attending the birth of the heir.
