"Six thousand gold...that would pay off my debts," said a grizzled Dunmeri commoner to another. "Whats that?" asked the bar tender. "Arthryn Sarthos, that Dres lord from Kragenmoor, came in here talking about a bounty on Imperial slaves. Six-thousand gold for former soldiers, and he said he would pay fifteen-thousand for a former officer! He's looking for deserters, criminals, prisoners...anything. I don't know why, but he wants some Imperials bad. Probably for that damn slave army hes making,"

The bar tender laughed, pouring a glass of flin for a nearby patron. "A slave army...have you ever heard of anything more ridiculous?"

An old farmer in Deeshan shares a drink with his friends, sharing his observations. "It was mighty suspicious, I say. Four Ordinators and Six Hlaalu all dressed up in armour and riding their horses together. Come to think about it, I don't know if two of them were Hlaalu or not, they were dressed up like Imperials. Guess they'll recruit anyone these days. S'wits."

"Four crates! That was a lot of people to transport four small crates. Four! Makes you wonder what Hlaalu got their hands on that was so important to the temple, hmm? They rode their horses from Narsis all the way to Iliath Temple I heard. Mighty suspicious..."

"Why is Narsis on lockdown? I came here to sell stuff my pelts but they turned me away at the gates. Said no one goes out or in until morning."

"I heard there was an assassination attempt on the Hlaalu Councilor's life, thats why there's a lockdown. Good thing those Vanguards were there from House Indoril. I mean, they stayed the whole night to help guard the Kinhouse and all."

"Eeh, I don't think the councilor wasn't attacked, I heard a Hlaalu guard was. You know, that one with the weird hat? I saw some servants mopping up the blood leading to the Kinhouse. I wonder if he died?"

"I don't know what happened, but I saw the High Prosecutor and an Ordinator Captain come by the Kinhouse hours before all this happened. Could be connected? Maybe that's why the Vanguards were there? I wonder how much trouble the Councilor is in."

Ebonheart Pact
Skyrim
Did know what went on the Rift? There must have been forty, nay fifty Dumeri at LEAST marching down the road! Ordinators, soldiers and even priestesses were among them! Leading them was that Samarys fellow I keep hearing about. What business do the Dunmer have in the Rift anyway? Stay in Morrowind if ya ask me.

Ebonheart Pact
Morrowind
The town criers all across Morrowind and beyond have been spreading the word, Hrogar's Hold was attacked late at night. The grounds of the great manor are now littered with large daedric fires, large patches of magically frozen ground, burn marks suppoedly from lightning strikes and large fungal spikes upon which the bodies of men wearing black robes can be seen, their bodies already being feasted upon by cliffracers. While nobody is quite sure how the battle went, one thing was clear. The Telvanni who resided there fought back, but now rumours abound that she did not survive unscathed, and nobody has seen her outside since. What does this mean for the Telvanni of stonefalls?

The Unified Great House Armies, with authorization and escort from Asgautr and Ysondra of the Skyrim Council, marched upon Fullhelm Fortress* Yesterday.

Fortunately, the forward guard posted around the Fort stood down and did not resist as the forces entered.

Intelligence reported, from several inside contacts, that a coalition of Imperials who had been planning an insurgency against the Ebonheart Pact, were having a meeting in the hall of the Fortress.

After taking the members in the meeting completely by surprise and having them surrounded and outnumbered, they surrendered.

All Nord prisoners were sent with the Skyrim escort and the Imperials, as well as a Dunmer woman who was thought to be the leader of the coalition, were taken into Morrowind Custody.

On my way to Deshaan early this morning, I ran into a frantic Khajiit running from Heimlyn Keep to Hrogar's hold, as well as a group of those Telvanni Harbingers followed closely behind. Only the Three know what's going on over there, but it didn't look good.

Heimlyn also had that fancy blue magical shield around it again. I had to deliver a few things there at the Keep, but couldn't get in until this important looking fellow came to gate and let me through.

Smoke rose from the coast west of Ebonheart. The charred husks of seven Ashlander Skirmishers were laid out thoughtfully in a row. Above them, on a rock, were the bodies of a small Dunmeri family in the rags of poverty. They were laid out delicately, and with just as much thought as the bodies of the Ashlanders. By their wounds, it was clear that the House mer had been butchered by the Ashlanders.

The only sign of who avenged them came in the form scorch marks on the stone above the slain family. The scorchmarks read. "We are to treat them as all other violent Ashlanders. With sword and flame, not shield and bread." It was signed with what looked to be a maker's mark. Accomplished Smiths, traders, and a few Dunmeri politicians would recognize this signature.

The maker's mark was a combination of the Daedric letters "V' and "H".

Rumors and news has already began to spread across skyrim and nords from Markarth to the Pale and everywhere in between are coming up in arms in recent news of the Morrowind army being allowed free reign to march into Skyrim on the authority of a man who has no power to grant such a thing to the elves. Only person who could make such a decision is The king or the Jarl of the Rift with the King's approval.

The entire army of the Great houses crossed the border, marching on Skyrim to deal with something that the elves had no right in dealing with.
