Ridgewell workers in the Gold Coast were treated to a sudden increase in wages and no one seemed to know why....that is until rumor began to float about that James Ridgewell had remarried and was sending some of his joy down the pipes. It was dismissed by most until the Lord himself was visiting the Anvil warehouse and mentioned in passing to the regions over seer (for the House Ridgewell Trading Company) that his wife sends her regards.

There have been whispers that a large wooden box was delivered to the Varro estate this morning. Upon being opened it is reputed to have contained five severed horse heads, the middle of which had no eyes and a silver lady’s girdle emblazoned with a rearing horse wound in an X formation across its forehead. Next to the horses severed heads was the former blade of the Horse Lord himself, it was bloody and had been broken upon an anvil before being placed in the box.
One distressed spectator claims to have seen those same mares delivered to House Ravnore’s keep near the Strid River several months ago.
Last night three masked figures were sighted walking into 'The Dabbler's Den' apothecary in Kvatch right as the shop would be closing. The three figures did not emerge from the establishment and when clients entered the shop the next morning they found a worker at the shop, dead. The employee there had apparently died from severe trauma to her neck. After a short investigation by the authorities, no trace of the three killers was found. Anyone with information on this case is to report it to the Kvatch city guard.
