Welcome to Vvardenfell Roleplay! We're a bunch of roleplayers that not only desire but also seek to create a flourishing roleplay environment that is centric around the Dunmer, their Great Houses and the nomadic Ashlanders. Vvardenfell Roleplay is, by all means, an OOC Hub Guild for that sole reason alone, to gather like-minded roleplayers in a united effort to bring the island of Vvardenfell to life.

The primary goal of the guild is to create a thrilling and immersive roleplay experience for everyone that seeks to either visit or stay upon Vvardenfell. The in-game Guild itself will, therefore, act as a Gathering Hub to ease the player phasing of each individual, as well as keep an easier track of events and where to find roleplay on and near Vvardenfell.

While the name of the guild is Vvardenfell Roleplay, we by no means keep ourselves, or anyone restricted to the confines of the island itself, as we do support roleplay all across Tamriel. But with this guild we aim to extend that very support to the lush fungal ashlands of the Dunmer.

The guild has recently been created in anticipation of the new chapter for The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind, which unfortunately means that there is a slight barrier to entry in the form of the Chapter "Morrowind", which unfortunately must be purchased in order to travel to the island of Vvardenfell. If you don't own the Chapter just yet, you'll naturally be welcome to join any event or roleplay that takes place on the mainland of Morrowind, or any other region upon Tamriel.

To keep a healthy and good spirit in the guild, we wish to see everyone uphold these few simple rules:
1. You may not express views that are in any way discriminating, on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or country.
2. You may not harass, threaten, embarrass, or cause distress to another player. This includes, but is not limited to, verbal attacks, unwanted messaging, personal attacks, stalking or any other undesired behavior used to cause discomfort or disrupt other players experience.
3. You may not roleplay Great House Councillors or the leaders of all factions, such as Grandmasters of Houses, Morag Tong and Cammona Tong and Temple. This is for keeping lore canon and balancing power in roleplay.
4. You may not force your authority, attacks or sexual encounters via emotes on other players, metagame ( this includes mind-related magic ) unless agreed-upon beforehand.
5. You may not engage in ERP in public places, or share potentially traumatic roleplay content with others without their agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, descriptions of graphic violence, mutilation, violent assault. Keep it private, it isn't for everyone.
6. You may not engage in sexual RP with a roleplayer under the age of 18, as determined by Zenimax's EULA or with an underaged character. This is illegal and will get you not only banned from the guild, but also reported to Zenimax Online Studios.

Generally speaking, we strive to be incredibly lore correct, and we will, therefore, hope that you will do the same, as our goal is a very true-to-lore and immersive experience for the entirety of the roleplaying community on EU, including Outlanders that only come to Vvardenfell for a visit every now and then.

We welcome any and all into our OOC Hub Guild, no matter the race or occupation of your character in life, as the guild itself is purely an OutofCharacter gathering hub, and will therefore not hold any power or otherwise benefit InCharacter. It is pure and simple, a place for roleplayers to gather and share Vvardenfell-centric roleplay with one another.

If you wish to join us in our goal to create a fun and exciting roleplay environment in Morrowind, please feel free to join us Ingame and on our Discord:

We've had quite the influx of members and RP is picking up now that people have mostly gotten through the content. Unlike writing for yourself, roleplay is a social effort by many people. In order for roleplay to go on for any period, one must treat other roleplayers kindly and respectfully, so we've decided on a set of rules to help toward this goal! Not reading them does not mean you can fail to abide by them.

Courtesy.

Treat roleplayers as you would like to be treated. If you don't agree with someone's storyline, it is best to go elsewhere and make your own content rather than argue with them. If someone appears to not know their canon, or act as if they believe differently, don't interrupt to voice your thoughts. Ask them OCly what roleplay they are doing and if it doesn't suit you, move on. There's someone there who wishes to roleplay as you do and you only need to find them.

Now if someone approaches you for help with lore, it is kind to offer it or point them to uesp.net or a relevant article or person who can.

Try to respond to all requests to roleplay, even if only OOCly to say you're not available or in character.

Do not attempt to take over someone's roleplay to put yourself into a spotlight.

Talk with players out of character before you attempt something that could cause a scene or would force them to choose between staying in character or being subjected to your authority, magic, power or violence. Be polite and respectful.

If roleplay bothers you, then you do not have to be a part of it. It should be fun for you- so don't force yourself in and for the same reason, do not disrespect the time and effort other people have put into their roleplay.

Conduct.

If you would like to do something that another character would have no means to deny, you need to ask the player first. For example, before attacking, disrupting their magic, using out-of-character knowledge, asserting your authority in-character as their superior, detect their vampires under a disguise or derailing their stories or events you must get a permission from the other players involved.

Sending a warning that you intend to assault, charm, or order them around is not enough! They must explicitly allow you to do so, and not doing this will not only ensure they do not wish to roleplay with you after, but will lead to you getting kicked out of guilds and communities.

If another roleplayer breaks this rule, take a screenshot and talk to one of the guild admins and we'll assist you.

Compromise.

Enjoy your kind of roleplay and let others enjoy theirs. Everybody else would like to roleplay without being harassed, be they an argonian serf or a Telvanni magister.

Nobody can tell you that you cannot play a high-ranking outlander in a Great House, and you should give other players the same courtesy.

If you're in an event with many other players, allow everybody for a share of the spotlight. Don't claim your scholar knows everything and no other person has something of value to add, or avoid every kind of scratch in combat by virtue of luck, magic, or combat ability.

Roleplay is enjoyable for everyone when everyone gets to participate and contribute. Likewise, do not try to in-character debate lore should you disagree with it out of character. These discussions never end well. Roleplay is not about winning, but about making connections with other characters. You cannot always be right, in or out of character.

What you can be is always learning and considerate and people will appreciate you for it.

If you're considerate and respectful, you'll find roleplay rarely if ever leads to drama.

I like everything about this thread. Nicely made. And it is great to hear you are picking up on activity.

I wish you success to estabilishing this hub.

Side note: Currently you don't have the "active mark" (check sign with greenish background) next to the name of this thread. To be listed as active contact Emmy.

Oh hey, I've been trying to reach one of the afformentioned Officers for the guild, and I've not reached anyone.

Would anyone be so kind as to toss an invite in my direction?

Hello! I'd really like to join this RP hub! I attempted to whisper any of you in-game, but was greeted with "Account not found". So I'm trying here instead.
