A Sheep in a Wolf's clothing
((Bad language and stuff))
"You must act like leader, Rolf."
The large nord looked down to Éadaoin, an amused grin deforming his already badly scarred face. "It's what I do, little woman."
"You're taking more than half of it for yourself."
"I'm bigger, stronger, and smarter.", he snorted, turning his attention away from the reachwoman so he could keep 'counting' their last catch, his share quickly growing bigger than any of the others. "Hence. More for me."
"It's not what I meant.", Éadaoin argued, crossing her arms.
That made the man laugh, with his loud and terrifying laugh that she often heard when he got what he wanted. And he always did. "Oh, I know exactly what you mean, litte Reach girl. I should be an 'alpha', like wolves. I should think about my 'pack' first." He laughed again. "You spent too much time in animal hides. We're bandits; we take what we want. I take what I want. And I want a bigger share."
Then he nodded his head towards the dying firepit where the three other members of the gang were sleeping. "Ash and Erik can't even count, and Sarah will do what I tell her to do, just like she does every night." He grinned with a sinister satisfaction. "Because she's scared of me."
Éadaoin stared right back at him, unmoved. "I'm not scared of you, stupid nord."
He moved his large hand into what was seemingly her share of the loot, grabbed almost half of it and brought his to his pile. "Remember, savage girl." He jerked his thumb towards the three sleepers. "You think they will keep you around if they learn who you truely are? After what your kind did to their families?"
His taunts worked. Éadaoin's expression turned to pure hatred for the man, but she couldn't say anything.
"As I thought. Now, shut up and get some sleep. We're attacking a caravan tomorrow."
Frustrated, she turned away from him and headed into the forest, passing between the bodies of the adventurers they had killed for the treasure they were after. Just before disappearing behind the trees, she shouted back at him : "Remember, Rolf! When you have no friend... no one to watch your back!"

Crouching in the tall grass and hidden by the dim light of dawn, the five bandits were waiting for the caravan to pass by. An 'easy picking', Rolf assured them. His informant had always been reliable so far.
"How long we gonna wait?", Erik asked to Rolf. He was sitted on the ground and bored already, despite having been waiting for a mere ten minutes at most.
"Shut up. It's coming. Whole coffers of gold. You better get your lazy ass ready." Rolf was in his usual bad mood, looking about ready to punch anyone in the face.
"Whole coffers of gold and nobody t'guard'em, heh?" It was Ash's turn to doubt Rolf's plan. "We never that lucky. Nobody ain't that lucky. If really is that much gold, must be at leas' a dozen knights with it."
"You can't even count to twelve, moron." Rolf glared at the other man, the distance between them being the only thing stopping a fight from happening.
Éadaoin kept silent, watching the road for the caravan. She always had to watch out as the men of the group fought. And they always fought.
"I can count up ta 'Fuck you'!."
The three men kept arguing with each other, and Sarah kept staring at the ground, the girl obviously scared of the men she hanged out with.
Hopefully, the caravan would arrive before a real fight broke out. And it did. But a caravan it didn't look like. Éadaoin spotted a single carriage pulled by a horse, but she couldn't see anyone aside from the hooded coachman. It didn't seem right to her; no one would send a large shipment of gold and silver with no escort, would they?
"Hey.", she called out, unsuccessful at getting the bickering men's attention.
"I'm gonna make myself a nice new necklace out'a yer broken teeth!"
"I dun' need mah teeth ta make sweet love t'yer mum."
"Ah! He jus needs his cock! Ha ha!"
"Ugh...", Éadaoin sighed, looked around until she found a rock on the ground, which she threw at the back of Rolf's head. The nord turned to face her and drew his blade, his face red with anger.
"Calm down, stupid nord. It's coming."
The man calmed down. They all did, and turned their attention to the road, seeing the carriage approach.
"Tha's it?", Ash said in disbelief. "This ain' no gold caravan. Is but a single man!"
"That's the point. No one would suspect what it's carrying. It's insconspicuous."
Ash looked about ready to start another fight. "What'd'ye jus call me?!"
"Shut up or I'll fuckin gut you!"
"Guys!", Éadaoin had to try and calm them down enough to focus on their target. "Carriage. Gold. Riches. Remember?"
And they calmed down again. But for how long? Rolf started giving orders, getting his plan in motion. "You three, get on the road an' stop'em. Ehdeen and I will cover you."
Éadaoin stared at the nord with a frown as the three others made their way to the road, staying low in the tall grass. What was he up to? It wasn' t his style to stay behind. Just as she thought that, he turned to look at her with a large grin. He was clearly up to something, but all she could do for now was watch.
And so she did, too far away to hear anything. Her three fellow bandits approached the carriage from the side and stepped on the road, blades in hand, and the carriage stopped. Ash approached even closer, waving his sword at the coachman, probably threatening him.
An instant later, he fell to the ground, struck by lightning that came out of the coachman's fingers. Smoke rising from his clothes, he didn't move anymore. Erik quickly dashed at the man to end him, but he was caught in a ball of flames before he could reach him. The least brave of all, Sarah dropped her sword and ran for her life, only to be struck through the head by an ice spike. It was over in just a few seconds; they were all dead.
Moments later, the carriage was on its way.
Yet, for some reason, Rolf didn't look upset at all. He actually looked quite happy with himself.
"What was that?!", Éadaoin shouted at him.
"That, dear, was three less persons to share spoils with.", he said with a satisfied grin.
"You knew it would happen?!", she quickly got up on her feet, handaxe at the ready. "You're dead, stupid nord!"
Rolf didn't even move, smirking at her. "You're not going to do anything, Reach girl. You have nowhere else, remember? Who else but me to accept a Reach girl around?"
He was right, and he knew it. So she lowered her weapon, but kept glaring at him. "Why didn't you get me killed too?"
He stood up and started walking towards their camp. "Even I get bored of being alone. And you never asked for a bigger share..."
She split the wounded man's head open with her axe, ending the last pleads for mercy and turning the scene into a silent one. Securing the weapon in its leather loop, she looked around herself. The small building was trashed, most of the furniture broken during the fight, and the few guards were laying dead. The place looked like any ordinary house, aside from the guards and the chest full of gold that Rolf was already looting. His contact always knew where to find the gold, and this time, it was a tax collector's house. Straight out of the coffers of the Crown of Wayrest.
Éadaoin sat on the broken desk and watched the nord grab handful after handful of gold as he filled sacks. He was still wearing that horrible 'hat' : after the last time she talked of the 'Wolf spirit' to him, he thought it would be funny to wear a wolf's head as a hat, but he had no idea how to properly do anything of the sort... Thus, the thing on his head was rotting in place and starting to stink horribly. Never did she say anything about it though, as watching him humiliate himself was way too funny.
When he was done looting every single gold piece, he moved to the wall and used some black paint to write 'ROLF' in big letters. Éadaoin frowned as she saw that, and came closer to ask "What are you doing?"
"I'm reaching for more.", the large nord said with a grin, looking proudly at his 'artwork'.
"Reaching for more what? Gold? Is that what you wrote on the wall? I don't think it'll make anymore appear."
He turned to look at her with a curious expression, his decomposing hat looking as though it was staring as well. "Can't you read, Reach girl? ...You can't."
"No.", she said, staring back at him, visibly annoyed.
"Of course not. Why would barbarians need to read.", he stated, way too happy to mock her. "My name. I wrote my name."
"That's stupid.", she snorted and moved towards the wall, quite intent on wiping his name off before the paint dried.
But he wouldn't let her. Way stronger than her, he Grabbed her arms and held her off. "No touching, Reach girl!"
"You mad, stupid nord?", she argued. "Y'want everyone t'know it was you?"
"Precisely!", he exclaimed, laughing loudly. "All this gold... this is nothing! I'm reachin' for fame! No more will anyone say 'Rolf who?' or 'Rolf the nobody'." He growled, having some old vendettas in mind. "Soon, it will be... 'Rolf the merciless' or... even better : 'Rolf the terrible'! Ha!"
She pulled away from him and his 'artwork', until he released her arms. "I thought nords were all idiots. But y'er the worst of 'em."
As Éadaoin left the house with a sack of gold, Rolf returned to the wall and added some words after his name. "Just you wait, Reach girl... 'Rolf the terrible'."

"Please! Stop!", the argonian begged just before a throwing axe lodged itself in in his chest, silencing him forever. Bound to a wooden pole, his body slumped as he expired, joining the dead khajiit and breton bound to two other pillars on his right, the first with a large 'R' carved in his chest and the second with a 'O'. On the other side, a still living wood elf, also tied to a pole and scared to death, shaking like a leaf.
Merciless, Rolf moved to the argonian's body. He took back his throwing axe, grabbed his knife and started carving the saxhleel's chest to form the letter 'L'. Each letter looked worse than the previous one as he was getting increasingly drunk. He didn't even seem to realize that the flesh of his 'hat' was starting to fall apart, the stench of rot filling the air.
Leaned against a tree and watching from the side, Éadaoin rolled her eyes to herself and commented "You've gone mad, stupid nord."
As he was done with that letter, he walked back, taking a swig of rum and getting ready to toss his axe at the bosmer. "Y'know me... always... wantin t'make a lastin impression..."
He got in position, bottle of rum in a hand and axe in the other, and aimed at the defenseless elf. He threw... and missed.
Terrified, the bosmer squirmed and screamed "Help! Help! Don't let him kill me!" He looked towards Éadaoin as if she could be his savior. "Don't let him do that! You don't have to do that! Stop him! Please!"
But she didn't move, having no intention to stop Rolf or to save the innocent mer. He kept begging her "He's mad! Please sto-" until his throat was slit open by Rolf's knife.
"That was annoyin..." The nord started carving the last letter of his name, a large 'F', on the bosmer's chest while he was choking on his own blood.
"D'you want me to find more of'em so you can write 'the terrible' too?, she asked sarcasticly.
He laughed very loudly, turning around to walk towards her, which he was barely able to do by now. When he reached her, he placed his large hands on her shoulders to hold her in place and he leaned down to kiss her, his rotting 'hat' falling on her.
The reachwoman wasn't having it though, and she immediately punched him in the guts, following with her knee to his groin, sending him crashing to the ground and groaning. "Bitch!"
"I'm not Sarah. Touch me again, and I'll show you how we treat nords in the Reach." She spat on him and left him there, heading back into the forest before anyone would stumble upon this massacre.
Later that night, Éadaoin woke up as she was being... groped. Rolf was holding her wrists pinned in place with one of his large hands, while aggressively fondling her chest. He smelled of alcohol, vomit, and the distinct stench of his rotting 'hat', which was thankfully nowhere to be seen.
"Get off me.", she commanded, struggling but unable to get out of his strong grip.
"Shhh... you'll love it, Reach girl... juss relax..." He pulled hard enough on her clothes that he ripped them off her to expose her chest.
"Last warning.", she growled, glaring at the man.
But he laughed, moving his hand away from her and and down to his crotch, being so drunk that he had a lot of difficulty pulling his pants down.
That's when she struck, hitting him hard in the groin with her knee, again, weakening him enough that she was then able to push him off her. In an instant, he was on his back, confused and pained, and she was sitting on him, with a knife to his throat.
"You are a sheep in a wolf's clothing, Rolf the nobody."
His eyes widened as she slit his throat. And she just stayed on him, watching him die.
