The Balmora Bookclub is a newly founded community organisation located in Balmora, gathering on a near-weekly basis to discuss assorted literature, mostly that of a fictional nature. Meeting at the "Ashen Rose", a local tea house and bookstore, members discuss the books they've read, and collectively decide on which book they will all read before the next meeting

Founded by the esteemed Buoyant Armiger Redoran Selveni Retheran, and hosted at the establishment of the honorable Dres Noraya "Flare", one of the members of the club, the Balmora Bookclub seeks to improve literacy and to promote reading as a non-work related sideactivity for Balmora's many residents, while also supplying participants with a steady source of tea and cakes. Healthy and polite discussion and the exchange of opinions is, naturally, encouraged, and all are welcome to join - be they ancient librarians or not-so-literate people with the noble aspiration to improve in this field.

The Balmora Bookclub is a social event that is intended to take place on a weekly basis. The aim is to provide fun and engaging casual RP that gives everyone present room to speak and hold everyone's intention - the opinion of every Bookclub member is of great value, after all!-
so that nobody needs to feel excluded. Simultaneously, by using in-game lorebooks as the subject matter of our gatherings, everyone is encouraged to read one of TES' many, perhaps less commonly known, books, using them as a topic for the meeting that everybody knows about and that everybody can have a say about In-Character. The Bookclub collectively decides on which book shall be read before the following meeting - do bring your suggestions along!

This week's book is "Running from Eyes", by an unknown author (link in the VVRP Discord!).

The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday the 19th of July 2018, at 20:30CEST / 19:30 BST.

The Balmora Bookclub is hosted through the Vvardenfell Roleplay in-game guild and Discord.

No bookclub the coming week due to surgery I'll be going through - we'll hopefully be back into action in a week or two!
